The Indiana University Foundation appoints three esteemed leaders to the Board of Directors

Bloomington, Ind.—The Indiana University Foundation (IUF) welcomes three new members to its Board of Directors: Mary Boelke, Frank Graves, and Kristin Mays-Corbitt. The IUF Board stewards and supports Indiana University’s (IU) fundraising goals and serves as the legal governing body of the Foundation. The newly appointed members will become part of a distinguished cohort of seasoned leaders and experts, all dedicated to ensuring a vibrant and enduring future for Indiana University.

Forbes, President and CEO of the Indiana University Foundation. “Their varied expertise and perspectives will enrich efforts in advancing our mission to support Indiana University. I look forward to working alongside them.”

Mary Boelke

Mary Boelke is a tax partner and the former managing partner of the Deloitte Indianapolis office where she was responsible for strategic management and operational execution of the Indianapolis practice that comprised of approximately 500 professionals in the audit, tax, and consulting functions.

Boelke began her career at Arthur Andersen in Chicago, Illinois. Since joining Deloitte, she spent nine years in the Indianapolis office before joining the Technology practice in San Jose, California as the office tax managing partner. In 2006 she relocated to Dallas, Texas where she served as the office tax managing partner. Mary then became managing partner and serve as a lead client service partner, advisory partner and lead tax partner in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2021.

Boelke graduated from Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Illinois, Indiana, Florida and Texas.

Boelke serves on the Executive Committee for the United Way of Central Indiana and Riley Children’s Foundation Board of Governors. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Indiana Sports Corp and Indy Chamber. Mary is a member of the Dean’s Council for the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and serves on the IU Foundation’s Women’s Philanthropy Leadership Council.

Frank Graves

Frank Graves is a principal of The Brattle Group who specializes in regulatory and financial economics, especially for electric and gas utilities, and in litigation matters related to securities litigation, damages from breached energy contracts, and risk management.

Graves has over 35 years of experience assisting utilities in demand and cost forecasting, valuation, infrastructure expansion and financial planning, and risk management, spanning the full gamut of long-range investment and service design decisions facing public utilities. Recently his work has focused on developing business strategies and public policy approaches to encouraging decarbonization of our energy usage, and on financial strategies for coping with the burgeoning problem of very large wildfires. Graves has testified before state regulatory commissions and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) as well as in state and federal courts and arbitration proceedings.

In the area of financial economics, Graves has assisted and testified in civil cases regarding contract damages estimation, securities litigation suits, special purpose audits of non-standard business transactions and their accounting, tax disputes, risk management, and cost of capital estimation, and he has testified in criminal cases regarding corporate executives’ culpability for securities fraud.

He received a Master of Science with a concentration in finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Psychology from Indiana University.

Graves is also a professional violinist and chairperson of the Dean’s Advisory Council to the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University.

Kristin Mays-Corbitt

Kristin L. Mays-Corbitt is the vice president and general manager of chemicals at Mays Chemical, a Ravago Company, one of the top 20 largest chemical distributors in North America. With over 30 years of experience in the chemical industry, Mays-Corbitt has led strategic growth and operational excellence across various segments including food, pharmaceutical, personal care and industrial. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to innovation, quality, and customer service.

Mays-Corbitt began her career at Mays Chemical as an intern and progressed through a wide range of roles including customer service representative, business analyst, director of customer service, manager of warehouse distribution, blending operations, fleet and inventory management, purchasing, and marketing. She also served as vice president of operations and assistant to the chairman before assuming her current role.

Mays-Corbitt earned both her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Master’s in Business Administration in Management from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

She serves on the boards of: Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, Inc. (CICP), Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (Indy Chamber), Indiana University Kelley School of Business Dean Council, 16 Tech Community Corporation, Inc. (16 Tech), Indiana University Health System (IU Health), Indiana University Varsity Club, Indiana University Foundation, Alliance for Chemical Distribution (ACD), Chemical Educational Foundation (CEF), YMCA of Greater Indianapolis

Mays-Corbitt’s civic contributions include serving on the Civic Advisory Council for NFL Super Bowl XLVI, NBA All Star 2024 Board of Directors, and the WNBA All Star 2025 Board of Directors. She is also a member of the Easter Star Church, where she is an elder and serves on the Church Council.

Kristin is married to David Corbitt, a partner at Kreig DeVault, LLP, and they are the proud parents of four children.
